Tree of Remembrance Free community event, open to all where we will remember and honor those lives in our community and surrounding communities lost to violence. This event combines a Christmas Tree Lighting, Candle Light Vigil and luminary display. “As long as we live, they too shall live; for they are forever a part of us; as we remember them” PLEASE: If you know someone who was lost to violence (gun violence, domestic violence, stabbing, arson, DUI or any form of violence) and would like them remembered at the ceremony please send us a email with their name and their age (if you want their age included). Their name will be read aloud and will go on a luminary. This is open to ALL areas you do NOT need to live in Winchester / Frederick County to attend or have your loved one included. There is no fee to be included just send us their name.
