Cotton Tail Easter Market -A Free Family Event

On March 25, 2023 Kevin Riley Foundation of Hope hosted it's first ever Easter Market. Our goal was to offer a free day of activities where families could make memories, community members could meet one another, children could experience things for the first time and we could assist families with filling Easter Baskets. We had over 63 Craft Vendors and Artisans. We expected a turn out of about 1200 people but to our surprise we had 2,432 people and over 1,000 children. We gave out free bunny ears and coloring books to the first 300 children. We had meet and greet with Paw Patrol characters, free craft tables, free Easter Bunny photos, life size connect 4 game, DJ with amazing music where children broke out into a dance party. We enjoyed a show by Armstrong Irish step dancing Academy. We had McGruff the Crime dog and fingerprinting for children. Children got to take a ride around the walking trail on a barrel train like they own private roller coaster. A food truck and ice cream truck rounded out the evening after kids visited each of the 63 vendors for candy or a treat with their easter baskets to help families prepare for the Holiday. We were sad to run out early of everything as we most certainly were not expecting the huge turn out we had. We are so appreciative of those sponsors and donors. As our events grow we are in more need than ever for sponsors and donors. Giving families opportunities to spend quality time together making memories spending little to no money, giving communities the opportunity to come together and meet their neighbors will make a strong community overall. Our hope is our outreach and sharing Kevin's story with as many that will listen will work to end violence in our community and make someone think twice before taking a life. Your life is valuable and so is the one across from you. Join us to take a stand against violence, Become a Sponsor/Partner of our events! Email Crystal@kevinrileyfoundation.org to get started.
